黎朗 Li Lang China, b. 1969
Biography
Li Lang (born in Chengdu in 1969) currently works and lives in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. His video works utilise photographic images to present an intricate relationship with reality and explore the intersection of history, memory and society. Li's work has been awarded the Punctum Award at the Lianzhou Foto Festival (2019) and The Motherjones Medal of Excellence for The Mother Jones Magazine (1998). His works have been collected by: San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (USA), Shanghai Art Museum (China), Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno (Spain), Guangdong Museum of Art (China), A4 Art Museum (China), Chengdu Contemporary Image Museum (China), White Rabbit Gallery (Australia) etc.
