另一种可能：乡镇建设
与乡村建设的对象是农村不同的是，乡镇建设的对象在这里指的是非县治（县城）所在地的乡、镇。它们构成了数量极其庞大的中国传统行政管理架构的末端。按照费孝通的说法，（他称之为小城镇）就是“一种比农村社区高一层次的社会实体的存在”。但费先生的考察对象大概多为江南一带经济比较发达的乡镇，对于地处偏僻的黔东南而言，这里的乡、镇恐怕只是一定区域范围内——大致包括十几个行政村的行政中心，除了数量有限的行政人口，以及少量从事非农经营的人口外，大部分人口仍在从事农业生产。由于经济欠发达，这里的乡镇面貌呈现的更多是一种接近于农村的景观，只是在乡、镇政府所在区域，除了保持乡镇建制所必须拥有的空间布局外，尚有一些缺乏规划的商业空间和其他消费空间混杂其间，同时，由于缺乏竞争力以及新型小经济形态的不断出现，产业或消费空间的转移和消失遗留下一定数量的废旧空间，构成了这一带乡镇特有的粗砺肌理。
在明显缺乏特色和吸引力的乡镇建筑风貌之外，幸运的是，作为中国传统村落最为密集的地区，黔东南一带拥有极为丰富的自然生态资源和乡土文化资源（包括物质和非物质文化遗产），加上多年的生态博物馆实践所打下的坚实基础，这些条件让我们可以跳脱目前国内时髦的乡村建设风潮，思考另一种可能：乡镇建设。
我们前期的工作包括，分批次邀请国内外建筑师、设计师、艺术家逐步改造乡镇闲置的国有资产，分期建设一系列的文化艺术空间和服务设施，包括艺术中心、民艺中心、书店、旅店等等，通过开创一种混杂的文化经济模式，使外来的资源在此集中和生发，同时，当地的资源不再流失或者外溢。把内（在地的资源）与外（艺术设计和商业模式）两个方面勾连起来，使乡镇的文化和商业功能足够强大，以便向周边村寨辐射。村寨有条件地接受适度的观光需求，不承载过度的旅游开发，最终使乡镇成为物质生产和消费、文化生产和消费的目的地。
我们认为，乡镇建设的真正用意在于，通过合理规划和发展村寨集体经济，严格控制不良资本进村，保护好村寨的自然生态和社区文脉，以及乡土文化的承袭与言传。在此基础上，可以考虑发展可持续的艺术形式，比如与在地文化相关的公共艺术等。经过若干年的努力，实现传统村落、生态博物馆、创意乡村（民艺中心）和公共艺术的价值叠加，带动当地的文化和经济发展。
茅贡计划的实施我把它总结为三个生产：
一、空间生产
作为茅贡计划之“空间生产”的开端，由梁井宇领衔的场域建筑设计，几座位于308省道边的闲置资产将经过改造，成为乡镇新的文化载体投入到使用中。粮库和周边旧建筑将通过屋面翻修及室内改造，整理为以公共艺术研讨、地方手工艺和农产品展示为主的文化艺术空间，包括展厅、书店、创客中心、艺术家工作站、导览中心、文创、茶室、餐饮等附属设施。外部采用当地传统做法及材料围合建造一条分隔喧闹的公路与安静的展厅之间的廊道，将现有室外空间划为三个大小、形状、使用目地不同的院落。旧粮库将修护、保留大部分旧墙面。新的搭建工艺和材料就地取材，但在某些屋面做法上对传统做法进行了改良。
二、文化生产
文化生产将首先围绕茅贡镇所辖范围的自然资源和人文资源展开，邀请本地学者、村民与外来的艺术家、设计师和人文学者分工协作，以调研、出版和展览等形式，深入探究和梳理在地文化，利用当代媒介和传播手段，既使本地民众通过大家的工作重新认识自己的社区，又让外来者得以系统了解在地文化从而展开研究，并在此基础上教育和培训当地青年人，吸引他们共同参与建设。目前正在进行的项目，包括米展（对应当地的全球重要农业文化遗产—侗乡稻鱼鸭复合系统）、地扪书院系列出版物（村寨系列丛书、《茅贡》杂志书等）和艺术家为本地定制的艺术作品（本地题材以及利用废旧建筑和户外创作的公共艺术作品）等。
三、产品生产
产品生产是茅贡计划的重要环节，也是使这一项目可持续的基本条件。在长达10年的时间里，在此耕耘的地扪生态博物馆构建了一个让乡村和城市可以共享自然馈赠的系统，恢复并建立了农村家庭与城市家庭互信互惠的生产／消费的关系，扶持并创建当地人的经济体——社区生态产业合作社。村民以生产小组或家庭作坊的形式加盟，生态博物馆提供培训支持和品质监控，社区生态产业合作社负责组织生产和加工，创意乡村联盟负责产品研发及设计推广。整个系统在增强集体经济活力的同时，提高了村民的收入，带动了当地经济的发展。
项目地位于贵州省苗族侗族自治州黎平县茅贡镇。

茅贡乡创小镇位于中国贵州省黔东南苗族侗族自治州黎平县境内，以“引领传统乡村走向创意乡村”为核心思想，为探索新乡镇建设的另外一种可能性。发启“创意乡村-新上山下乡行动”，由一群80、90后为核心的“城市创意阶层”投身参与，倡导“中国人的新乡居生活方式”，主张“发现乡村价值、重估乡村价值、输出乡村价值、重拾乡村精神”，促进“城市”与“乡村”良性互动和价值联结。
無名营造社自2017年落户茅贡镇，投身参与茅贡镇规划与保护发展的实践工作，并主持了系列新木构建筑营造和历史空间再生工作。秉承以“挖掘在地民俗建筑营造智慧，传承并实践新乡土建筑营造的可能性”的工作理念，与在地默默无闻的乡村营造人士（村民、木匠师傅）共同劳作，尊重在地的营造智慧和营造习惯，重新评估乡土建筑营造的价值，为探索适应茅贡镇的新木构建筑空间形态的可能性而实践。
無名营造社在茅贡乡创小镇发展理念的背景之下，先后建成系列乡土建筑作品：茅贡乡创学院|会场、茅贡接待中心|书屋、茅贡木屋酒店等。关注在地传统木构建筑的构造以及其便捷的组装式搭建营造形式，传承其优良的营造智慧，致力于创造新的空间机能，重构乡土建筑的空间精神。以满足茅贡乡创小镇吸纳众多城市创意青年阶层“返乡”，搭建外来城市“新乡民”和本土乡民共同对话的空间平台，构建适应于当代乡镇发展的新乡土建筑营造。

这是一个急就章的展览。2015-2018年，对从事乡村工作的我来说，有一个很大的转型，无论是地点，还是方法，甚至是心态，都较之2011年落地碧山时有了巨大的变化。其中，茅贡计划对我而言具有特别重要的意义。2016年5月，茅贡计划受邀参展第15届威尼斯建筑双年展中国国家馆，随后粮库艺术中心落成，并举办了两场展览；直到2017年8月，我们收拾完杂乱的镇供销社，做完米展，我不会想到，这可能是我最后一次在茅贡工作。
在米展的前言里，我曾乐观的写道，“经过近两年的工作，一个充满生机的乡创小镇已经渐显雏形。如今穿镇而过的302省道黎榕公路连接着粮库艺术中心、乡创孵化中心、百村百工中心、百村文化中心，以及正在建设中的木构工场等。这些作为茅贡镇新节点的公共空间正在陆续落成，寄寓其中的文化和产品的生产也在逐一发生，这一切看似碎片，但我们依然感受到未来可能具有的巨大能量”。
再随后，一群80、90后的后生来到了茅贡，发起了“创意乡村-新上山下乡行动”。在留下了自己的建筑痕迹后，这个行动的发起人陈国栋也于今年4月离开了茅贡。目前茅贡的运营方是仁民善作，据公号介绍，他们计划在茅贡创建农村可持续生态的经济微型系统和城乡多元对话社群，并组建在地团队SMART VILLAGE来运营管理。

Slow

Zhai Liang is an excellent storytelling artist. The object in his stories are special, such as the story of “Text”, the story of “Logic”, the story of “Narrative”, and so on. These stories are then transformed into paintings and 3-D works, pulling the audience into a field of thoughts.
Living in a rapic society, “SLOW”, the diametrically opposite way, acts as a reference for Zhai’s art. In arts and literature, “SLOW” exists in an indistinct way. Throughout history, the spiraling and forward process of times seems to be slow. Or, perhaps “SLOW” is only a yearning for idyllic family life against this rapidly changing society? His solo exhibiton is based on this clue.
In his new works, Zhai made some important shifts in his methodology of painting, where he strove to make direct association between “SLOW”and visual perception. Each detailed process of his creation acts as the reflection of his exploration in “SLOW”, is indeed a kind of practice in action. Perhaps, the edge of his works and the border of artist’s inner world are the same thing but in different dimensions? Read more -
Xing’an West Art Group
22 Jul - 22 Sep 2017 In 1938, four young people Jin Yusong, Sakai Kaori, Mu yishao and Shangguan Yanqiu, from China and Japan formed an art group beyond the war boundaries, named Xing’an West Art Group. Among them, Jin and Shangguan were in fact intelligence agencies from the communist party. The complexities of their identities added a sense of legendary.
This exhibition exposes their art works, rules of group, photos and even tools for secret communications of intelligence. Why can they be revealed? The truth is, the group, and all the stories and documents as well as their works, are all made up by the contemporary artist Liu Chuanhong.
Although we know the truth, we still expect to see the group. This exhibition is a story that does not exist anymore in the strong and real time, in which the artist attempts to fight against histories with personal imaginations.
