Anonymity - Text / Shao Fengtian
“Anonymity, simply put, entails the act of not exposing one’s identity. In the virtual world of the Internet today, anonymity could be concealing one’s real name, identity, or any information that enables identification. It allows people to express themselves and share information without the qualms of self-exposure.” In this sense, anonymity means the formal disappearance and fragmentation of subjecthood, but individual, private knowledge systems are also more likely to vibrantly manifest themselves.
